I gave this cookbook to my sister-in-law who has 2 daughters 6 and 12. The whole family, even dad, has made something from the cookbook, and they rave about the food that comes out of it. They are particularly fond of the breads and pastries. Anyone can cook! Enjoy!

This is a cute cookbook for kids. There are some neat ideas, including the "rat face pizza" and the dirt cake, with a plastic rat, of course! I haven't tried any recipes yet but I am looking forward to making them with my niece. If you liked the movie and like to cook, I would recommend this cookbook!

I don't know what you've heard, but just to clarify: this cookbook has ONE recipe by Thomas Keller -- it is NOT a whole BOOK of recipes by Thomas Keller. In fact, the recipes are standard children's-cookbook fare: grilled cheese, pizzas decorated to look like animals, etc. Having said that, though, it's a pretty good version of a kid's cookbook. The French influence shows up in the recipes for crepes and, of course, ratatouille. If you or your children are really into the movie, you'll probably like this book.

Food you can serve the whole family, using mature but totally accessible ingrediants such as yeast and potatoes, to make some of the foods you know your kids would love if they'd only give them a try -- like Quiche Lorraine and Linguini Alfredo with Peas. And they'll probably try them if they make them! A fantastic cookbook, for any age cook.

Wonderful!! My 13-year-old daughter, who has been cooking some for a couple years, has really enjoyed this book. It has some simple recipes for younger kids or complete beginners, plus more complicated ones for older kids. Tasty food, too! The attachment to the movie also makes it fun. Very glad I bought it!
